Call for Nominations: WAPOR Asia Pacific Vice President & President-Elect

Dear WAPOR Asia Pacific Chapter Members,

The WAPOR Asia Pacific Executive Committee appointed me as the Chair of the Electoral Committee 2025. President Linda Luz Guerrero and Vice President Matthew Gray are the other members of the Electoral Committee. We now call for nominations for the post of Vice President & President-Elect to be filled by election. Nominations, including self-nominations, of WAPOR Asia Pacific members should be sent to the Secretariat at wapor.asia@gmail.com by November 14, 2025. All nominations should contain the name of the nominee and his/her qualifications. Only nominations from WAPOR Asia Pacific members in good standing will be considered. The elected Vice President & President-Elect will serve a two-year term that runs from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027.

As per the WAPOR Asia Pacific Constitution (Article 4.7): 4.7 – The Vice President and President-Elect shall act as the President’s deputy. S/He shall automatically become President the following term. S/He shall take over the Presidency if the office becomes vacant.
